You will receive a set amount of points by signing up.  Points are how you make your bets. The more confident you are, the more points you want to bet. If you see a bet you like – feel free to negotiate a unique point amount with the competitor. Points are used to create the rankings.

You can receive additional points for

• Logging in to the app daily
• Inviting friends to the app
• Creating bets that get accepted
• Voting on audience polls
• Judging friend’s bets

In our app the points do not have a monetary value.  But if your friends assign a dollar amount to points you can agree on this.

Yes – you can bet a friend or challenge anyone on the app

By creating a public bet your bet is listed publicly, and will be activated by the first challenger to accept.

You can search our app for ideas and see what other people are betting on.

We also recommend trying to bet on something you have knowledge about or a talent that you have.  You can create a bet based on your strengths if you don’t see one that you like.

Our App includes the following categories: with friends, sports, health, arts, stocks, news.

If you want to bet on any other type of bet, you can click bet now to create any bet you’d like against your friends.

It depends on the category of bet you are making.  The bet will be verified by one of the following ways:

• News/Stocks/Sports – the bet will be verified via public information
• Arts – Audience vote – the MoneyMouth community votes on the winner
• Friend – you select a friend to verify the winner
• Health/Fitness – Video/Photo submission – participants submit a video/photo and the winner is determined based on the submission

If you create a bet outside of these categories it could be helpful to consider how you’d like the challenge to be verified in order to pick the best template to follow.

For bets that say cover the spread or not, we use CBS sports lines

If the bet doesn’t say cover you can assume it is a straight up bet unless other odds specified by the creator.

By accepting a bet, you accept the odds and terms listed by the bet creator.

Some bets like news and sports have a deadline, if no one accepts in time the bet is cancelled.

Other bets like health or arts can be kept open for longer with no expiration.

Your challenges sent to friends expire in 24 hours if no one accepts.

You can select your profile as private so only friends can see.

Each bet also has an indicator of public or private – and you can select only private bets.
